At the end of the narrow dirt road leading to Laluna, you'll find a handful of thatched and wood shingled roofs tucked discretely into the hillside amidst lush green gardens. Yet, attention to detail can be witnessed in the conscientious staff and distinguished décor accents.

Hand-picked Balinese furnishings interweave threads of Italian flair in this quiet, laid-back ambience, where total rest and relaxation take precedence.

There are 16 cottages total and all facing westward for a breathtaking view of the sun setting over the tranquil turquoise bay. Boldly-colored walls, polished concrete floors and dramatic teak furnishings create a primitive, yet modernistic feel. The 280-foot bedrooms feature a king-sized four-poster bed draped in sheer-white Indonesian cotton. Each cottage also boasts a TV/VCR, CD player and air conditioning as well as a luxurious private deck framed in bamboo, complete with an edgeless plunge pool. A shower with cutout windows facing the sea in the open-air bathroom allows one to bathe in the beauty of the tropics and pamper oneself with exclusive Hortus Fratris Italian bath products. A thatched-roof cocktail bar serves up tropical delights for guests lounging on the open deck surrounding the pool and on the beach only steps away. The dining room also sits contently on the beach, serving exotic creations by the European chef. 

For those craving a little activity, there are complimentary mountain bikes and water sports available consisting of a 14-foot Hobie cat, kayak and snorkeling equipment. golf, tennis and fishing.
